If you didn’t double-click any files to start ScrapIt Pro and there were no files open when you last quit ScrapIt Pro a default file will open if it can find one.
System 6 - Upon starting, ScrapIt Pro will look for a file in the System Folder or in the root directory named “ScrapIt Pro File”. If it cannot find one, it looks for a “ScrapIt ][ File” in the System Folder or root directory; if it is not found it will look for a file named “Scrapbook File” (the name Apple’s Scrapbook DA uses).
System 7 - If you’ve checked the proper option in the Application Preferences, the last files you had open will be re-opened. If no files are opened, ScrapIt Pro will look for a file named “ScrapIt Pro File”, “ScrapIt ][ File” or “Scrapbook File” in the ScrapIt Folder and the System Folder.
